Master Class “Inspiration” form/content: Building a Master Class around 5 or 6 invited DOPs from around the World, screening sequences from their film productions, discussing their style of cinematography, use of equipment, lighting, framing, philosophy, working techniques and personal inspiration. Each DOP will be interview by a moderator who has been doing thorough research into this person's artistic production and past, with focus on who his/her work as a DOP and what inspires him/her. In addition, bringing in important elements/topics that have helped inspire the cinematographers interviewed, or elements that can inspire cinematographers participating in the Master Class. Possible examples: paintings and painters, still photographs, writers, newly developed technical equipment, demonstrating new techniques, individuals, etc. Alternatively, decide on a specific number of topics of inspiration, and find DOPs that can talk about these topics specially. The Master Class is intended to be arranged in a cinema: 1) Stage with DOPs, screenings and moderators; 2) Participants are the ones to be inspired; 3) Other topics to be brought into the discussion: Possibly painters, architects, production designers, films, technical eq. pre-production, post-production periods, etc etc.
