EFA - EUROPEAN FILM AWARDS 2007

42 Films Selected

Another edition of the “European Film Awards” is being prepared and will take place in Berlin, December 1. Recently, a short list of 42 films was announced, making official those who are running for this year's Awards. In contrast to other years, none of the big film nations have more than three films on the list and the 26 countries represented, illustrate vividly the great diversity of European cinema.

In the coming weeks, the 1,800 members of the “European Film Academy” will vote for the nominations in the different 15 award categories. This means that nominees for Best EUROPEAN CINEMATOGRAPHER 2007 are among these 42 film titles. The nominations will be announced on November 3 at the “Sevilla Festival de Cine Europeo” in Spain .

The 20th European Film Awards presenting the winners will take place in Berlin on December 1.
