Once again the “International Film Festival of the Art of Cinematography” will be held from the 24th of November to the 1st of December 2007 in Lodz , Poland . This year's edition will have something special because it celebrates its 15 th anniversary. This is one of the most awaited festivals by Cinematographers having also achieved worldwide recognition in the film industry. Congratulations for Camerimage's 15 years and thank you for promoting the outstanding art of cinematography.
AWARDS This year, Stephen Goldblatt ASC, BSC will be granted “Camerimage Lifetime Achievement Award”, also being an Honorary Guest, and Adam Holender , ASC will be granted “The Special Camerimage Award to the Polish Cinematographer For Immense Contribution To The Art of Film”.
SUBMISSIONS But in this 15 th edition, you can still be a part of Camerimage2007: “Student Competition” submission deadline is the 17th October 2007 and “Polish Films Competition” on the 20 th September 2007. If you think you have a shot, try it!
FROG OF FROGS COMPETITION “Mirror, mirror on the wall, who's your favourite of them all?” Camerimage has decided to make you that question and you can vote until November 9th 2007. Out of all the Gold, Silver and Bronze Frogs that Camerimage has been honoured to grant, you can vote which film/ cinematographer do you prefer over all the others. We hope this a good reason for you to see, or review, all the best high-quality Cinematography films competing. The winner will be announced during the Opening Ceremony.
