BSC Show 2007

The British Society of Cinematographers BSC organised one more edition of BSC Equipment Show. A great number of local companies were present with their new products. The exhibitor's stands were a place to encounter colleagues and friends to chat about work and new technologies.

Very little post-production equipment was present. But Joe Dunton introduced his color corrector machine Digital Vision 2K at JDC. The concept behind enlarging from a camera rental company to post-production is the need to provide to the cinematographer all means to follow his work from beginning to end. As we know cinematographers are concerned about the pos-production changes done without the consent or supervision of the cinematographer. This is a new concept that it is growing around Europe . TSF Group in Paris is aiming in the same direction with their new facilities equipping a large theatre to screen rushes.
