7 th MICRO SALON 2007 held at AFC (France)

AFC ( Association Française des Directeurs de la Photographie Cinématographique / French Cinematography Association )   has promoted its 7 th edition of Micro Salon , last March, 8. The main goal of this event is to create a meeting platform for cinematographers to catch up the latest equipment novelties and exchange experiences. Tony Costa, AIP, Vice-President IMAGO, has accepted AFC's invitation to represent the European Federation of Cinematographers.

This year, the event had 4 different moments: one dedicated to "Light and Equipment"; a second one to "Points of View and Equipment"; a third, dedicated to "Projections and Film, Laboratories and Post-Production"; and a final moment consisting of several selected film projections used to evaluate different formats options. Main equipment brands and lot of professionals were present at Micro Salon, held at AFC's headquarters ( Paris ) which made it a successful experience for everyone involved.

IMAGO publicly thanks AFC both for their invitation and warm reception.

Being an active association, AFC has recently published its latest magazine edition, Lumières , les Cahiers de l' AFC (December 2006) featuring articles and interviews with: Raoul Coutard , Yves Angelo, Jérôme Alméras , Jean-Paul Meurisse , Robby Müller , Thierry Machado, Dominique Gentil , Jacques Cluzaud , Luc Drion , Frédéric Jacquemin , Eric Dumage , Eric Magnan , Bill Feightner , Joe Matza and Philippe Rousselot .
