First operator trainings in Munich , five more rental stations set up in Europe and Asia

The last week of July 2006, 15 camera operators and DoPs from Europe to Asia met in Munich with Stefan Weiss, DoP and developer of the Weisscam prototype, to learn about the tips & tricks of digital highspeed recording and the handling of their brand new Weisscam HS-1 system. After three days full of information and highspeed shooting training, they took home the first five Weisscam HS-1 systems. Since two weeks the Weisscam HS-1 system is available in the following rental stations:

Denmark: Medietek, Aarhus

Germany: Weisscam, Munich

UK : Take2 Films, London

Ukraine : Radioactivefilms, Kiev

Japan : Sanwa Cine Equipment Rental, Tokyo

Thailand : FX Post Production, Bangkok

First shootings with the SKATER Scope snorkel lens system:

The SKATER Scope was successfully tested by DoP Britta Mangold for the movie "10,000 B.C." by Roland Emmerich, currently in production.

DoP Bernd Eichholzer shot several TV spots for Playmobil with the SKATER Scope and a 435 Avanced, for a German Childrens TV channel during the first weeks of August.
