It has been recently released a new Sun Predictor tool that can be operated on any PDA and runs with the Windows Pocket PC platform. This instrument is useful for any part of the world.
This software program has been developed by John Wheeler ACS director of photography based in Australia.
The Wheeler Sunpredictor will instantly predict the future position of the sun by changing the time, date, compass bearing or angle of elevation. The graphic display shows sunrise, total hours of sunlight and sunset, as well as the current position of the sun on its transit path, as well as compass bearing and angle of elevation.
By simply ‘dragging’ the sun along it’s transit line, the time, compass bearing and angle of elevation are instantly updated. Use the calendar to select the date. Predictions can be made by minutes, hours, days, weeks or months. All computations are done instantly.
Please visit the web site at www.sunpredictor.com for more information. A free 7 day trial is available. For Mac users we have Mac friendly files. Third party software such as PocketMac is needed to transfer the Wheeler Sunpredictor program from Mac to PDA.
