Tonino Delli Colli AIC received the ASC International Award

The Italian cinematographer Tonino Delli Colli AIC, has received in 13 of February the ASC international Award.
Tonino has an impressive filmography which started as a director of photography in 1942. His last credit as a director of photography is "Life is Beautiful" directed by Roberto Benigni, a film that was widely acclaimed and awarded.
The Italian cinematographer collaborated with many well known directors like, Frederico Fellini, Pier Paolo Pasolini, Serge Leone, Dino Risi, Mario Monicelli, Roman Polanski amongst many others.
Tonino counts 143 films shot as a director of photography from 1942 to 1997. He was one of the leading cinematographers during the "Italian spaghetti" period. The post war brought the Italian neo-realism which he was one of the pioneers. On his credit includes the first Italian film shot in color. It was "Totò a colori" in 1952.
