Welcome to New European Society

The 14 founder members of the newly established Irish Society of Cinematographers will meet in Dublin on June 26th to hold the inaugural meeting of the ISC. Imago wishes to congratulate their General Secretary John Leahy on this successful first step and looks forward to the ISC playing a role in future by joining our international fellowship to help raise awareness of our profession and to maintain standards of cinematography.
The founding members includes many names any of our Societies would be proud to call their own. They are Jack Conroy, Seamus Deasy, Cian De Buitlear, P J Dillon, Tim Fleming, Donal Gilligan, Seamus McGarvey BSC ASC, Owen McPolin, Ruairi O’Brien, Declan Quinn ASC, Peter Robertson, Robbie Ryan BSC, Ciaran Tanham and Sean Corcoran.
The General Secretary, John Leahy, will administer the Society from Dublin having received advice from the BSC General Secretary, Frances Russell and pledges of support from Imago.
