CPS/Cinema Production Service 2010

This year the annual exhibition Cinema Production Service starts in the World Trade Center (entrance 4, 12 Krasnopresnenskaya emb., Moscow, Russia) from 27th till 29th of April for the seventh time. CPS traditionally attracts attention of experts, involved in the cinema chain, because of several reasons. First of all, brand new gadgets: most of them are presented only here and nowhere else in Russia. Second - the parallel program of the exhibition.

One part of it will be dedicated to the antipiracy problem. We are planning to involve into discussion the specialists of different ministries, representatives of intellectual property committees, producers, film-makers. Also we would like to invite our foreign colleagues to join the process. Undoubtedly, the piracy is a worldwide problem, so it can be very useful for all the sides to share experience, particularly successful.

Another part of the program is about 3D format and its advancement in our country. Not a secret that it’s a practically new direction for the most of Russian film studios, that’s why it has long-term perspective and needs detailed elaboration in all the phases – from pre- to postproduction.

During the period of CPS existing, the organizers have decided their main task – cooperation between the film professionals - and done it quite happily. So, we are going to do our best once again and waiting for our visitors in Moscow, 27-29 of April 2010, in the World Trade Center.
