Suspiria (historical) on Blu-Ray DVD
Luciano Tovoli, ASC, AIC and IMAGO honorary member, contributed stunning imagery to Italian director Dario Argento’s 1977 horror classic about a ballet student who discovers that her new dance academy is staffed by a coven of witches hellbent on sowing chaos and destruction. With a Blu-Ray DVD of the film scheduled for release in the U.S., the timing is right for a retrospective look at this flamboyant visual masterwork, which has long been an extremely influential title in the horror realm.
