
During the 1950s and '60s, Franco Di Giacomo climbed from working as an assistant and camera operator. In the 1970's Giacomo was lucky enough to be part of the golden ages of Italian cinema when he was promoted as cinematographer crossing his most known works with Bernardo Bertolucci on «The Strategy of the spider» and with Marco Bellocchio on «Victory March». One of the great marks of his career was working with Serge Leone with Tonino Delli Colli ASC on «The Good the Bad and the Ugly»
